Reseller Programme

There are two sides to any partnership. When Entrust signs a contract with a channel partner (reseller) both parties then have roles and responsibilities until the contract is terminated and these are summarised below; but first we'll define a few terms:

  • Services - Entrust's Hosted IT Services
  • Partner - An official reseller of Services
  • Customers - Partner's prospective and existing customers of Services
  • Partnership - The contract entered into between Entrust and Partner

Our roles and responsibilities
We agree to:

  • provide Partner with marketing collateral and standard rate cards
  • provide a standard Entrust Service Agreement branded for Partner
  • provide training for Partner's sales and technical support staff
  • provide second and third line technical support to Customers
  • provide, where possible, and depending on their proven ability to sell Services, sales leads generated by Entrust in its immediate geographical locale or channel specialism
  • provide Partner with pre-sales support for technically complex, but otherwise qualified opportunities
  • provide summary billing information in electronic form to Partner for all Customers by the 3rd day of every month for Services provided in the previous calendar month
  • permit Partner to place a listing on the Entrust website - with a description of Partner's specialties and channel focus, and a link back to them
  • provide access to Entrust's web-based ticketing system in order to monitor the progress of any technical support requests of Customers
  • remove pricing information from its website and promote its partners
  • protect Customers from Entrust and other competing resellers of Services so long as Partner satisfies the terms and conditions of Partnership

Entrust reserves the right to:

  • end a Partnership if Partner fails to generate sufficient sales of Services.
  • sell directly to prospective customers until such time as sales generated by Partners are sufficient to warrant an exclusively indirect sales model

Partner's roles and responsibilities
Partners agree to:

  • use best endeavours to promote and sell Services
  • provide first line technical support to Customers
  • be responsible for billing Customers for Services and recouping payment from them
  • purchase Services from Entrust at agreed rates and resell them to Customers at any rate they choose
  • purchase from Entrust at least one Hosted Desktop per month for a named user for demonstration and technical support purposes
  • pay Entrust by Direct Debit on the 20th day of every month for Services provided in the previous calendar month
  • place agreed content on their website, with a link to Entrust's website
  • use standard Entrust Service Agreements when engaging with customers and provide copies of all signed Service Agreements to Entrust
  • abstain from developing and promoting a service to compete directly with Services during the lifetime of Partnership and for a period not less than one year following the end of Partnership
  • sign and abide by Entrust's standard non-disclosure agreement
