NFB, The National Federation of Builders, is a trade  association for the construction industry. The NFB provides advice, support and information on business issues for members and advice on how to choose a builder for the public.

NFB operate from a number of regional offices throughout the UK. They needed an integrated telephone system that would provide the highest possible call quality and advanced call management facilities. In addition, they needed maximum flexibility without the need to invest in permanent infrastructure.

After looking at various alternatives, NFB selected the hosted VoIP solution from entrustIT. This provides a professional standard business quality telephony solution without the need to invest in specialist infrastructure. Telephones simply connect via standard Cat 5 DHCP enabled sockets. Full PABX style facilities are provided from our hosting centre.

Calls between extensions are free of charge, so the solution should improve inter-office communication and reduce costs.

Implementation at NFB’s office in Derbyshire is already underway with the remaining offices to follow.
