During the weekend of 30th/31st May entrust commissioned a new datacentre facility in central London. Linked to our other datacentre locations in Reading and Newbury it provides Tier 1 facilities within the M25, making use of the London Metropolitan Area Network for maximum performance. Allowing for real time replication between data centres for best practice data security the new facility will also allow for further explansion in the entrust customer base. Commenting on the expansion, CEO Jeff Dodd said "our business model continues to be attractive to mid-sized businesses, especially in a recession and securing sufficient capacity for the next 2-3 years was critical to meet demand. This is the final phase of a 6 month expansion plan that represents a significant investment for the Group." |
