Entrust IT have released a new product designed to meet the increasing need for web content filtering for both individuals and commercial organisations. Utilising the software as a service model, the hosted webfilter product allows for suppression of unacceptable websites in accordance with a policy agreed in advance with the customer. For larger organisations, policy maintenance can be retained in house and a comprehensive reporting system allows for detailed analysis of what sites are being accessed, when and by whom. No local equipment is required and the service is charged per user, per month in line with other entrust products. Especially tailored web filtering solutions are also being made available for local authorities, schools and parents of school children (for home use). |
